Rachel + Brendan

This weekend, I had the pleasure of taking photos of Rachel and Brendan's Wedding at St. Thersea's Catholic Church in Des Moines. These two lovebirds met as Freshmen at Iowa State University when Brendan just so happened to be on the crew for move-in day and helped Rachel move all her stuff to her new dorm room. They hit it off right away and have been together ever since. I have a lot to learn from these two, they are two of the most kind hearted and generous individuals I have ever met. They deserve only happiness and I know they will create their happily ever after fairytale life. This September they will leave for a year of service to East Timor. I can't wait to hear all about their trip, I know that everyone they come across will experience not only the love they have for one another, but they love they have for all mankind. Here are a few PICTURE PERFECT photos from their wedding day.

B & A Engagement

Today was Amy and Barry's Engagement Photos at Water Works Park, which is somewhere that I have never been before so I was really excited to take photos there! Unfortunately the big water fountain was turned off, so that was a bummer, but it was fun nonetheless! They even brought their dog to join in the fun! Barry's cousin is one of my good friends and he also grew up at St. Theresa's with one of my cousins! Small world huh? This beautiful couple will be getting married on October 4th in Des Moines and I can't wait for their big day. Stay tuned for more PICTURE PERFECT photos Amy and Barry edition.

Welcome to the World, Avery Belle Hruby

My cousin Kelli had a baby girl, Avery Belle!

8.4 ounces
21 inches
She is healthy, happy, and absolutely beautiful! I think she has more hair than any other newborn baby ever. I can't wait to hang out with her even more! Knowing my family, I think she is probably going to be the most spoiled little baby ever and of course we wouldn't have it any other way! However, we are already very concerned about her 21st birthday on Cinco de Mayo! And her dad is already talking about locking her up away from the boys!

Funny how a little baby can change your perspective on life in general, it's so easy to take things for granted. Little babies and families are truly life's greatest gifts.
