Today I got to take Erich and Jenny's Engagement Photos. We had an absolute blast, they were a really fun pair to photograph. I don't think I have ever met such a happy and in love couple before, they are always smiling and a great couple to hang out with. We went to Walker Johnston Park and Raccoon River Park. They will be getting married next summer in St. Paul, Minnesota where Jenny is originally from and I absolutely can not to take photos at their wedding, rumor has it, they are quite the dancing machines! I had a hard time picking wish ones to post... here are a few of the PICTURE PERFECT photos from their shoot.
Today was one of my best friend's Engagement Party. Congrats to Thomas and Kathleen, who have been dating since middle school and are two of the greatest people I know. I can't wait for their wedding next summer and I look forward to many more fun memories with them in the future. Kathleen's sister, Michelle, has an adorable son, Day'Shawn, who my camera loves. He is so photogenic, my camera is like a magnet to him! He has overcome many serious health issues in his short two years of his life, which got him his nickname, CHAMP! He is quite the trooper and a smart one too - he even knows sign language! Not too bad for a two year old, huh? We all look forward to this fall when he will finally get his trek out. Check out this PICTURE PERFECT cutie patootie!
Today was Morgan and Jimmy's wedding. Morgan is Eric's cousin and all four of us went to high school together. Morgan and Jimmy are truly a special couple that always goes the extra mile for one another. Their wedding took place in Des Moines, Iowa at St. Francis of Assisi and The Temple of Performing Arts. Every little aspect was planned out perfectly and it really was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen. The father daughter dance was one for the books - GO IRISH!!! And the Morgan's surprise gift to Jimmy was amazing. After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will make a home in West Des Moines a few short blocks from me! Look forward to seeing more of them in the years to come. Cheers to Morgan and Jimmy! Here are a few of the PICTURE PERFECT photos from their big day.

Greetings! Picture Perfect Photography in 2005 as an outlet for my passion in the photography field. After hundreds of disposable cameras, thousands rolls of film, and countless photographs scattered around the house, I decided it was time to make this passion more than a hobby. With every job, I continue to enjoy of my biggest pleasures in life and laugh at the thought of photography being considered a “job.” For as long as I can remember, I have always had a camera in my hands. My classmates knew me as the girl they could always count on pointing a camera in their face. Flash forward a couple years and everyone can still count on me catching all those funny, emotional, embarrassing, and memorable moments. I love shooting photos of kids, siblings, Christmas Cards, engagement photos, dances, sports, and weddings...okay pretty much everything! I’ve been known to take over 1,000 images in one night… that’s why they invented digital photography right?! I love discovering new locations to shoot in. Hopefully one day I will be able to capture you and your loved ones. Please take a look at my website as a purse one of my greatest dreams. Cheers!
